We are experiencing on
going email issues…… We send emails that
don’t end up at their destination, and we don’t get a bounce back message for
the unsuccessful deliveries. We’ve also
had reports of others sending us emails, but they never arrive here, and no
bounce back message to say that our server has rejected them.
So, if you send us an
email, and do not get a response within 24 hours or so, please phone us – as we
may not know you have even emailed.
Please be patient with us during this time. We are attempting to have the phone lines
here upgraded enough for us to go broadband, at which time we can shop around
for a more reliable email server.
Best time to call us about
dogs is after hours on 07 5464 2200. If
we are not available to take your call, please leave a contact phone number
that we can reach you on. Land line
numbers are most appreciated, as calls to mobile numbers are not including in
our phone plan. Thanks.

At MIRRIBANDI, we choose to breed wisely -
Breeding for TYPE – breeding with proven show quality parents
to preserve and further improve the quality and integrity of the breed.
Breeding for TEMPERAMENT – inspection of the parents of our
litters is most welcome. References are
always available.
Breeding for HEALTH –
·
breeding from dogs that have not had
an epileptic seizure – this is to the best of our knowledge, as we are not able
to watch them 24/7, nor is there any test available (yet) for this disease….,
·
breeding from dogs that have a
current clear eye certificate (certificates are only valid for 12 months) * we have a technical difficulty with
the semen collected years ago and been stored in the freezer ever since – in
these instances, the dogs were eye tested at time of semen collection.
·
breeding from dogs that have been
hip scored.
·
All our breeding girls have also
been elbow scored.
You won’t find us declaring that our stock is “FREE” of
health issues unless we can prove it by a current & valid medical
test.
Copies of our health results are
always available.
We believe that even a family pet has to have all of the
above attributes too – if you want a Belgian, it has to LOOK like a Belgian, it
has to be healthy, and it has to be of the temperament that suits your family
and your lifestyle. All new owners
deserve these traits in their new puppy for many years of worry-free love and
friendship – whether that puppy be destined for the show ring, or the family
couch, or the agility ring, or the sheep paddock for herding sheep.
