Our Halloween litter! These babies arrived a few days earlier than
anticipated, which was fine by us, as it meant that we were not up at all hours
delivering puppies mid week. A calm
Saturday afternoon event, these babies arrived with no problems at all.
Alex helped deliver the first few
babies. Her daughter, Chloe, assisted
with recording birth time, weight and sex of the puppies as they arrived.
Annette and daughter Jacinta attended the
birth of the second half of the litter – and it was Jacinta’s first birthing
experience. Jacinta is now an expert in
assisting with breaking the birth sack, and helping the mother clean up the new
born babes.
Tarsha was very relaxed and not worried at
all with all the excitement around her whelping box.
We had plenty of orders for boys from this
litter, and we are feeling sad for those families that are disappointed that
only one of the puppies in this litter is a boy…….
We look forward to watching these little
darlings grow up, and grow out of their whelping box, and off to their new
homes.
