Ryu was sold to a pet home as he was missing
3 teeth, which excluded him from our breeding program, and from showing. Missing teeth does not detract from his
health or well being – it just does not abide by the strict code of ethics of
breeding and showing.
The show ring will miss out on one of the
most beautiful characters that we have had the joy of knowing, with Ryu instead
making his new owners a fabulous family companion or up and coming obedience or
agility star. He is very quick to learn
new tricks and commands, and his whole existence aims to please his people.
Ryu has only been trained with positive
training methods to date. None of his
sit work has been done with a check chain.
He responds superbly to positive training methods and lots of treats
(tid bits and lots of pats and cuddles).
