Hahn stayed at Mirribandi till about 18 months of age.  She was a lovely girl from our H3 litter from Kizzy & Picasso.

We enjoyed her antics, her exuberance, her natural working ability with the sheep, and her good looks parading around Mirribandi and out and about at the show rings.

Hahn is fascinated by cats – will watch them for hours, and if the cat runs, Hahn will follow at a chase – but she is not nasty with them.

Hahn was bitten by a snake, two days after we lost Deja to snake bite.  However, with Hahn, we saw quickly that she was not “quite right” and rushed her to the vets.  A blood check revealed that she was bitten by a highly venomous Black Snake.  A mad dash across town to source some antivenin, and back to the vets to administer the life saving serum.  Two days later, and Hahn was back home with us recuperating.  I cannot believe how close we were to loosing her……  It was perhaps minutes, maybe an hour spare…..  So far, the only side effect of the poison and antidote appears to be sudden massive coat loss, which has thankfully regrown.

Hahn has now found a lovely family, complete with an elderly Groenendael to keep her company.  They are besotted with her, and she with them.  They have renamed her Hallie.  We wish them many years of happiness together, and look forward to seeing them all when they come up to Qld for the sunshine, and when we venture south to NSW for the Specialty shows each year.
