Casino’s father is Blaki. An intervariety bred Groenendael lad out of
our gorgeous Tervueren girl Revoir, and sired by the handsome and multi
talented Groenendael - Fax.
Casino’s mother, Dazzle, was imported in
partnership with Mirribandi & Lumineux, and it was our turn for a litter
from this precious girl. This breeding
combines some of our most favourite bloodlines.
It was decided that because of Dazzle’s
dislike of travel, that Helene would look after the mother and babies at
Lumineux until the pups were ready to fly the nest. We cannot thank Helene enough for the love,
care and attention that she bestowed on these delightful pups!
At 8 weeks of age, Casino flew up to us,
with several of her litter mates who were sold to lovely families living near by
us at Mirribandi – and it was like she had indeed been raised here since
birth. She was so outgoing, relaxed, and
settled, with no “new kid on the block” moments at all.
Casino started her show career with us in
early 2009. We have high hopes for this
young girl.
Casino sailed her way to easily attain her
Championship title – with the final points earned in August 2009. She will now have a rest from showing, while
she matures and grows coat. She is a
slow maturing kind of gal. We look
forward to her return to the show ring, where she will once again be an
excellent dog for beginner junior to handlers to work with, just like her
father, Blaki.
Casino is showing talent with sheep herding,
and attained her Herding Instinct Certificate, and Herding Test title in
2009. We hope to take her further with
this activity.
